Hindustani Voice and Theory (Foundation and Diploma Programmes)

A Gold Medalist in Graduate and Post-Graduate degrees (M. Sc. Zoology), Master's in Music (M.Mus.) she has been training in Hindustani Classical Vocal Music for the last 30 years. Since 1988, she has been a regularly featured graded artist at All India Radio. Shruti topped the performance at State Inter-University Classical Music Contest held by MP State Government in 1989, with FIRST position & a Cash Award. That same year she also received the BEST Light Music Vocal artist award at State Inter-University Music Contest. As a performing artist of Hindustani Classical music, she has been performing extensively within India and abroad.
Shruti has over 15 years experience teaching Hindustani Classical & Light Vocal Music. She was also the visiting faculty of the Music Department of Madras University. Shruti conducts regular workshops and Lecture-Demonstration on Voice-Culture as a specialized subject.
She has also just completed the book on Hindustani Classical Music, especially for easy comprehension and understanding for the Non-Hindi speaking students and connoisseurs. The book is titled "Elements of Hindustani Classical Music "and is currently under publishing.
