A representative of the Third Cultural Collective, a UK based musical venture that aims to bring together through collaboration South Asian and Western musical traditions, had been conducting research at KMMC and meeting students for several months in 2022. Their mission is to explore the different sensibilities of Eastern and Western classical music and find an identity that blends both seamlessly.
On December 17th, the Third Cultural Collective Concert, led by Mr. Kavi Pau, put up an electrifying concert as the audience was taken on a journey through magnificent Indian classical music, and powerful Western classical music, slowly moving towards an exploration of one tradition with the other. KMMC Prep Hindusthani ensemble as well as the Sunshine Orchestra participated in this surreal musical experience.
