Partnership description
These programmes are validated, awarded by and quality assured by Middlesex University, UK and are delivered and assessed by KM Music Conservatory, India.
The current course fee for the Foundation Certificate Programme amounts to INR 7,00,000/- per year, exclusive of food and accommodation. The fee can be subjected to change for the Foundation Certificate Programme as and when required only prior to the commencement of any upcoming academic year. Fees once paid cannot be refunded.
Food and accommodation (near to the campus) expenses can amount to INR 8,000/- per month and upwards based on the preference and requirement of each student.

On successfully completing the programme, the student receives a Middlesex award before progressing to the KMMC Diploma. Our Foundation programme is one of the accepted qualifications for entry to the KMMC Diploma—the latter can be used to form the first two years of the BA (Hons) Music degree at Middlesex University.

The above diagram may be seen as part of a progression for the student onto a complete Honours degree in Music at Middlesex University, London. A Diploma course follows on naturally from the Music Foundation. Students successfully completing the subsequent Diploma programme at KM Music Conservatory will be accepted onto the final year of the BA (lions) Music subject to satisfying necessary VISA requirements.

Enrolment criteria
- Ages: 16+
- Completed application form and fee
- English proficiency: Applicants must have earned a “B” grade or 55% in the 10th Standard English Board Exam, or an equivalent internationally recognised qualification, to be considered for this course.
- Interview: The interview will examine the student’s musical interests, experience and critical thinking skills.
- Audition: Applicants are expected to either sing, or perform on their chosen instrument, and to complete basic aural exercises designed to test their general musicianship.
