KMMC welcomed the academic year 2022-23 with a ceremony that opened with some soul stirring Sufi music performed by the KM Sufi ensemble. Mrs. Jyothi Nair then gave a short welcome speech to the new Foundation Certificate batch which was followed by a speech by Dr. Adam Greig, Academic Coordinator and piano faculty at KMMC. Dr. Greig brought the audience up to speed about the many events, workshops and programmes that KM has hosted and collaborated on over the past year, and gave them an inkling of the plans going ahead.
The programme ended with foot-tapping numbers performed by the Foundation year 2022-23 as they grooved to some vibrant Latin American music, complete with pulsating beats of percussion, galvanising the audience as they did so.
