KMMC collaborated with the Alianza del Pacifico (the Pacific Alliance), a Latin American trade bloc including countries such as Peru, Mexico, Colombia and Chile, in the ‘Sounds of the Pacific Alliance’. On December 8, the KM Chamber Choir performed at the KMMC auditorium in the presence of embassy representatives of the above mentioned countries. The Choir put up a superb presentation of Latin American folk music--from the legend of La Llorona to the song of the Afro-American fisher folk, the audience was enthralled as a cross cultural extravaganza unfolded around them.

To add Indian music to the mix, the KM Hindusthani Ensemble presented a stirring number. The show was brought to a foot tapping, climactic end with some Tamil music performed by the Sunshine Orchestra in collaboration with drummers from the Dakshinachitra Heritage Museum. The songs were performed by our very own KMMC students.
